Who, Whom and Whose.
The following is a brief refresher on the use of who and whom. ‘Whom’ feels like an old fashioned saying, but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be taught.
The use of “whom’ is less common in modern English. Most native speakers think it sounds strange and too formal. However, most Chinese students want to learn formal English (and their tests will require it), so its important to teach.
